The Houthi militia kidnapped a former local official in Ibb governorate, amid daily violations by the militia in various governorate directorates.

Local sources said Houthi militias kidnapped Najib Al-Shuaibi, former director of the Masalkh Foundation in Ibb, from in front of his house against the background of his writings on his Facebook page.

The sources said that the militia transferred “Shuaibi” to the notorious political security prison, citing previous threats by the militia to kidnap him against the backdrop of his civil opposition to the militia.

It is worth mentioning that the kidnapped Shoaibi, previously and that the militia dismissed him from his post after taking control of Ibb governorate in mid-October 2014.

Al-Shuaibi's abduction comes as part of a new kidnapping campaign launched by militias since the beginning of last week in various districts of Ibb governorate, killing several citizens.
