The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced today that the death toll from the Israeli war had risen to “31,272 Palestinian martyrs” since October 7.

The ministry said in a statement on Wednesday: “The number of martyrs as a result of the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 31,272 martyrs and 73,024 injured.”

It pointed out that "the occupation forces committed 10 massacres in the Gaza Strip within 24 hours, leaving 88 martyrs and 135 injured."

The Ministry confirmed that "72 percent of the victims of the Israeli aggression are children and women".

Since October 7, 2023, the occupation has continued its devastating war against the Gaza Strip despite its appearance before the International Court of Justice on charges of committing “genocide” crimes against the Palestinians.
