Alsahwa Net- Chief of the United Nations Mission to Support Hodeida Agreement (UNMHA), Abhijit Guha, deplored on Tuesday violations to the UN-sponsored Ceasefire in Hodeida.
Guha called on all parties to support the UN ceasefire monitoring mission and to provide freedom of movement to the UNMHA personnel to do their duties, according a statement posted on the UNMHA Chief’s Facebook page.
“We condemn any violations committed by air, sea and land in areas agreed by the Hodeida agreement,” said Guha.
He indicated that recent incidents have had adverse effect on the residents of Hodeida.
The UNMHA deployed late last month five ceasefire-monitoring points in several areas of Hodeida city.
Meanwhile, the Houthis militants continue violations to the ceasefire by targeting the government forces sites and residential areas.
