President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi has praised the US stances supporting Yemen in combating extremism and terrorism.

In a meeting with the US ambassador to Yemen Matthew Tueller, mutual relations and Yemen's update were discussed

Hadi stressed the importance of reaching peace on the basis of the GCC-brokered Initiative, the National Dialogue Conference's outcomes and the UN Resolution 2216.

The US Ambassador, for his part, hailed efforts made by Hadi in Yemen, noting that the US administration supports Yemen's legitimate government, and cooperates with it in fighting terrorism and extremism.
