Alsahwa Net-Anonymous gunmen killed on Thursday one government army officer in Aden, south Yemen.
A local source said in a conversation with Alsahwa Net that a group of armed men intercepted Jamal Abdullah Tena at Caltex Roundabout of Aden and shot him dead.
The source said that Tena’s body was found nearby the Ice plant in Al-Mansoora district of Aden.
Eyewitnesses said that the incident took place nearby a security checkpoint of the Security Belt Forces of the Southern Transitional Council (STC).
The gunmen fled the scene following the end of the murder, the sources said.
Chains of assassinations have been taking place in Aden since the southern separation rebels known as the STC took control of Aden’s security in 2016.
Hundreds of political activists, mosque preachers, government soldiers and officials were assassinated.
All murder cases have been blamed on unknown gunmen amid growing lawlessness in Aden.
