Alsahwa Net- Chief of the Islah Party, Mohammed Al-Yadoumi, said on Sunday that failure of the implementation to the military part of Al-Riyadh agreement impedes the formation of new new government.
He indicated, in a tweet, that already one year has been passed since “Al-Riyadh agreement” was signed and over three months spent on the attempt to revive the agreement implementation with no progress yet on this issue.
The government and the southern separation rebels known as the Southern Transitional Council (STC) signed early November 2019 Al-Riyadh agreement to end mutiny in Aden and restore government’s rule.
However, the government frequently blamed the STC for defiance to the implementation of the agreement.
The STC responded with more military escalation by taking capture of Socotra province last June and obstructed the return of the government to Aden.
