Head of UN Mission leaves Hodeida

Alsahwa Net- Chair of the Redeployment Coordination Committee (RCC) and Head of the UN Mission in support of the Hodeida Agreement Michael Lollesgaard has left Hodeida after the failure of implementing peace agreement reached in December 2018 in Sweden.
Political sources affirmed that Lollesgaard left to Jordan, signaling out that the UN Special Envoy Martin Griffiths are discussing with the Yemeni government the implementation of the second phase of redeployment in Hodeida.
President Abdo Rabu Mansour Hadi has said that the government’s concessions were always responded by Houthi arrogance and intransigence.
Hadi told Griffiths that Houthis always disavowed all agreements, emphasizing Yemen’s supporting positions to all efforts exerted to reach a reconciliation,
