Houthis entice tribemen with positions and money to pump more fighters

Al-Sharq al-Awsat newspaper has quoted tribal sources in Sana'a as saying that "the Houthi militia is beginning to recognize the threat of shortage of fighters in their ranks, especially due to the growing losses in recent weeks which prompted them to entice tribal leaders with positions and money to pump more fighters."

The Houthi group has been disappointed by the the past months' failure  to attract enough fighters despite their threats and temptations policy with tribal sheikhs and local officials, the sources said.

Te militia is now trying with the tribal elders in the provinces of Sana'a, Amran, and Dhamar to compensate their fallen fighters.
