The Houthi rebel militia has been selling humanitarian aid they receive in the black markets of Sana'a instead of delivering them to their intended recipients, local sources said.
The sources on the condition of anonymity said that "the militia flooded the Sana'a black markets with flour, cooking oil, legumes and other food aid stuff for sale while thousands of Yemenis are nearing starvation in several provinces they control" in Yemen's north.
One kilo of peas is sold for YR 100 rials and three liter bottle of cooking oil for YR 1500.
