A key leader in the General People's Congress (GPC), the party led by the former President Ali Saleh who was assassinated by Houthi rebel militias on Monday, has blamed Saleh's death on the Iranian intelligence.
Yaser al-Yamani said "the fingerprints of the Iranian intelligence in the assassination attempt," he said metaphorically.
Saleh was killed two days after he announced switching sides from the alliance with Houthi rebels who have been battling the Arab-backed government for nearly three years to the side of the country's government.
