Alsahwa Net – This website published on Tuesday a story entitled, “Houthi extremists drag corpses of slain villagers in Taiz” and left at the bottom of the story a link of the video where the Houthi militants stand over the bodies and rejoice their killing in their being mercenaries and “Kuffar”, or non-Muslims.
Unfortunately the link did not open because the owner of the facebook page changed their audience to private. Few social media pages had posted the video as public for a brief period of time before keeping it to specific audience. While we, the story’s editors, apologize for that, we would like to note that this is a phenomena in Yemen. Since Houthis control Yemen’s telecommunication network and population centers, Yemeni social media users usually avoid sharing graphic videos or images of violence attributed to the theocratic terrorist militia. The online activists don’t dare to post the media content that reveal Houthi terrorist acts public on their Facebook or twitter.
Note: As for Wednesday’s elusive video, we are providing here another link from another social media page that is, to the moment, still posting the video as public. On the hope it will stay so.
